1894
Transfer of Adrian to Adolph Jacobi
The successors of the two brothers, Jacob und Georg Adrian, sold the forwarding company to Adolph Jacobi from Frankfurt in 1894. The latter assumed the company name of the two brothers as there already was a company by the name of "Jakobi" in Wiesbaden and he wanted to avoid any confusion. Together with his nephew, Adolf Krafft, he developed the company into an enterprise with international links in the years up to the outbreak of the First World War. They transported furniture within Germany and abroad. They maintained several furniture warehouses as well as a freight carrier and cart factory in Gartenfeldstraße.
