Appointment as Royal Carrier to the Emperor

When Emperor Wilhelm II came to Wiesbaden for the May Festival, Adrian needed to transport the royal household's entire luggage, including the silver for the festive spread. In return, Adolph Jacobi was awarded the title of "Royal Carrier to His Majesty" on 20 July 1914.
